Insurance apologists say what you will, but Governor Charlie Crist has got his dukes up against the good hands people. After Allstate thumbed its nose at attempts by the Office of Insurance Regulation to inspect documents dealing with the insurer’s business practices, regulators there are going nuclear and banning Allstate from writing new auto policies.
