An “i” for an eye?
The box was pleased to receive an e-mail yesterday from Jindal treasurer, transition leader and Believe in Louisiana chief Rolfe McCollister who took time to point out that, when viewed on a large enough screen, his new ad touting Governor Jindal called “Can Change” does in fact spell the word “e-mail” properly. The box appreciates Mr. McCollister’s diligence in pointing this out. However, since most people are less inclined to delve as far as the box has into matters of spelling and grammar in political ads, it would be in Mr. McCollister’s interest to take this flap as a sign that he might consider using better equipped videographers moving forward. Perhaps he would want to engage the producers of this clip.
In the meantime, the box, not one to pass up an opportunity to foster open dialogue, requested from Mr. McCollister details regarding the purchase of these ads. Namely, the box asked Mr. McCollister to reveal exactly who is financing these ads, whether the majority of the money is from individual or corporate donations and exactly how much Believe in Louisiana has raised to date?
