Jindal and Co. Call on Top Flak in “Hannah-Gate”
You know a story has touched a nerve when Team Jindal calls on its lead flak Neil Kavanagh of the esteemed Northside Journal to slash and burn the messenger. In this instance the story is “Hannah-Gate” and Jindal’s Chief of Staff Timmy Teepell and the messenger is Jim Shannon of WAFB. Even as veteran Louisiana Republican operative Jeff Crouere makes the case that Teepell has become a severe liability for the administration, Kavanagh is quick to offer a quixotic and, true to form, nonsensical defense of the CoS and the Jindal administration. As it appears that Kavanagh received the only interview from Teepell regarding this matter, bringing some fresh, if albeit pointless information to the table, one wonders why the reliable flak couldn’t have asked Mr. Teepell for the correct spelling of his name? It’s Teepell, not Teeple, Neil.
