“Jindal Must Pay His Own Fine” Bill Moves to House Floor

From the Associated Press: A bill that would make Governor Jindal (and others) responsible for personally paying their own fine for campaign finance violations passed the House and Governmental Affairs Committee today. If it passes, Jindal treasurer and transition (cheer)leader, Rolfe McCollister, will have to put the $2500 he’s offered for Jindal’s fine towards his 527 Jindal-front -group Believe in Louisiana. More on McCollister and BiL after the jump.

Update: After a prompt email arrived in the box’s box last weekend from Mr. McCollister, complaining about a post here on his 527 Jindal front group Believe in Louisiana’s new television ad, requests made by return email to Mr. McCollister for details on BiL’s contributors has lacked the same snappiness of response. The box continues to eagerly await a reply with these details.
