Internet Giants Push Debate in New Orleans

Google and YouTube are ganging up on election officials to bring a presidential debate to New Orleans. The debate will probably be in the quirky style of previous YouTube “townhall via video” debates - which should finally offer the Whistle Monster the public forum he deserves.

Update: Here’s the announcement video featuring Governor Bobby Jindal and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin. Congrats to the city for taking this innovative approach and not merely acquiescing to the stuffy Commission on Presidential Forums (h/t Techrepublican via David All on Twitter).
