Jindal likens McCain to Sadie Hawkins

From ABC news: Sitting next to Jay Leno in his national coming out party, Jindal maintains that he loves his job as Governor and would like to run for re-election. And yet the Governor still manages to latch onto a crafty metaphor to keep the VP door open.

“It would be like saying I’m not going with that pretty girl to the prom before she asks you,” Jindal explained.

Thus while acknowledging that the thought of being VP is “pretty” Jindal once more manages to avoid what he would say if asked. And still no word as to whether McCain will ask Jindal, presumably via a passed note in 5th period Geometry class.

Update: Hat tip to Oyster for getting what turned out to be an obscure reference. (Apparently the holes are rather small afterall.)
