Vitter asks to use campaign funds for his defense in DC Madam case
From the Advocate: Senator David Vitter has requested an FEC ruling on whether he can use funds from his campaign war chest to pay legal fees in his involvement in the case of DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey. Vitter’s lawyer argues that Vitter’s involvement in the case was predicated soley on his status as a United States Senator and not on his status as a hooker loving philanderer.
