LA-06: DCCC Commits $700k for Cazayoux

The DCCC has commited $723,000 for TV ads backing newly elected Congressman Don Cazayoux (LA-06) when he runs for re-election this fall. The figure was revealed in a TPM report, which also lists the DCCC’s top 31 target seats. The list includes seats currently held by both Republicans and Democrats.

Cazayoux may be disappointed with only $700k, especially now Michael Jackson has confirmed his entry into the race as an Independent. The highest amount committed to a Democratic incumbent is the $1.7m committed to Harry Mitchell (AZ-05).
