Vitter can’t use campaign funds for prostitution defense
From The Hill: Senator David Vitter will not be allowed to use campaign funds to pay for $160,000 in legal fees arising from his involvement in the DC Madam scandal. Vitter will be allowed to tap his campaign for $31,000 in legal fees involving a Senate Ethics investigation into his association with the late Deborah Jeane Palfrey and her DC based prostitution ring.
