McCain Gets Right in New Orleans

Trying once more to convince a crowd of invitation only social conservatives that he is just like them, John McCain finds himself defending global warming and his God stance instead.  The Times-Picayune reports.

Prior to the event McCain was honored at a  $2200 per person fundraiser at the airport Hilton in New Orleans. Senator David Vitter, decked out in a grey blazer and maroon micro fibre t-shirt, spent most of his time hanging out in the lobby but did not share words with state treasurer and Senate wannabe John Kennedy, who made a brief appearance at the second big ticket fundraiser in the past three weeks that was not in his honor.

Vitter reportedly raised nearly $420,000 at an event at the Aquarium of the Americas in February attended by Kennedy and Governor Bobby Jindal.
