Vitter: No family values this time
The life of Senator Vitter is indeed an interesting storyville. As part of his desperate campaign to salvage his tarnished image, disgraced Louisiana junior Senator David Vitter has launched a new website for his dwindling campaign for reelection.
One of the few interesting things on the site, besides the fact that he is still shamelessly using his family as props to disguise his indiscretions, is Senator Vitter’s “issues” section.
These are usually fairly predictable and uninteresting sections, apart from State Treasurer John Kennedy’s due to his ever evolving world view. However, Senator Vitter has once again brought himself attention in a way he did not for see.
When first viewing the issues section, one might not notice anything unusual. These are the main issues Senator Vitter has promoted the past year or so, with the notable exception of obstructing FEMA a month before hurricane season. The site is also loaded with the obligatory references to Senator Vitter’s fondness for teabagging.
However, a further glance notes the fact that not one social issue, or family value, is listed on this page. Why in the world would Senator Vitter not want to talk about family values? To inquire as to why Senator Vitter does not mention family values on his site, call 202-224-4623.
Those wishing to ask the Republican Party of Louisiana should contact Aaron Baer, bless his heart, who is always good for a boneheaded comment at 225-928-2998.
