Vitter Attempts to Raise Funds off Latest Embarrassment

From TPM: In yet another bizarre move in his increasingly embarrassing campaign for reelection, disgraced Louisiana Junior Senator David Vitter put out a fundraising email promoting a labor union’s newspaper ads against him highlighting the Old Metairie Republican’s repeated votes against Louisiana’s working families.

These attacks against the already weakened Senator come at a critical time, as he was already losing support on the right because of his failure to support potential opponent Stormy Daniels’s call to repeal the national income tax and replace it with The Fair Tax.  The Junior Senator can not be pleased that his elitist background and his repeated votes against rebuilding the middle class are now coming back to haunt him like an old friend at Lakeside Mall.
