While enough has probably been said about jet-setting Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s nationally mocked response to President Obama’s State of the Union Address, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean caused us to bring up Bobby’s speech one more time in his appearance on Meet the Press this morning. WWL TV reports that State Representative Cedric Richmond announced today that he will run for Louisiana’s Second Congressional District next November.
According to Richmond, Congressman Cao’s “vote against President Obama’s Economic Recovery Act and his refusal to take the President’s phone call during debate over the bill” are ”further examples of Cao’s ineffectiveness and lack of respect for his constituents”
ABC News is reporting that Louisiana Congressman and unsuccessful candidate for a British Lordship Charles Boustany will deliver the Republican response to President Obama’s address to Congress Wednesday evening. The obvious line here will be that Lord Boustany is unlikely to ask Governor PB&J for some pointers.
