James Perry Violates Eagle Scout Code

A citizen journalist and Reduct Box reader named B. H. has alerted us to some rather unsettling news.  Earlier this week, New Orleans favorite ladies man and James Perry Campaign Manager Alex Morgan told Kevin Allman from Gambit that their “WTF” television ad was a $60,000 ad buy.  Well, it appears Mr. Perry’s campaign does not exactly believe in the Eagle Scout value of honesty.  Full info after the jump.

Cao Votes Against Healthcare Reform Before he Votes for it

Tonight, in an effort to shore up his Democratic credentials in his dwindling bid for reelection, lame duck Congressman Joseph Cao impersonated John Kerry when he voted twice to block the House Healthcare Reform bill, but then voted for final passage of the bill.  State Representative Cedric Richmond, and likely successor to Cao’s seat, took issue with Cao’s votes for obstructionism.  Richmond’s statement after the jump. Stormy Joins Obama in Winning Major Award

Just five days after President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, award winning businesswoman, writer, director, actress, and possible candidate for United States Senate Stormy Daniels announces that she has won the Best Director Prize at the Nightmoves Award Show.  A spokesperson for disgraced Louisiana Junior Senator David Vitter could not be reached for comment.

Richmond Starting Strong

Jeff Crouere reports that State Representative Cedric Richmond is starting his race for Louisiana’s second congressional district “strong” and is the most serious challenger to lame duck Congressman Joseph Cao.  Crouere cites Richmond’s strong fundraising the previous quarter, as well as a slew of big name endorsements Richmond has received this early in the process.

Cao for Bills that Work, Against Bills that Don’t
