Earlier this week, New Orleans favorite ladies man and James Perry Campaign Manager Alex Morgan told Kevin Allman from Gambit that their “WTF” television ad was a $60,000 ad buy. Tonight, in an effort to shore up his Democratic credentials in his dwindling bid for reelection, lame duck Congressman Joseph Cao impersonated John Kerry when he voted twice to block the House Healthcare Reform bill, but then voted for final passage of the bill. Jeff Crouere reports that State Representative Cedric Richmond is starting his race for Louisiana’s second congressional district “strong” and is the most serious challenger to lame duck Congressman Joseph Cao. Crouere cites Richmond’s strong fundraising the previous quarter, as well as a slew of big name endorsements Richmond has received this early in the process.
