No, this is not a joke, he’s back. Maybe. In a column for Bayou Buzz, political analyst and Republican Party of Louisiana insider Jeff Crouere speculates that State Treasurer John Kennedy might run against jet-setting Governor Bobby Jindal in 2011 if Jindal’s numbers are weak. For those unfamiliar with any of Treasurer Kennedy’s (many) previous runs for office, and honest to god, who can keep track of them all, here is an ad from his most recent campaign for United States Senate.

In an interview with Politico, jet-setting Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal once again declined to endorse disgraced junior Senator David Vitter. According to Politico, Governor Jindal has been “cautious in the past about his endorsements…”. Um… they might want to check here, or here, or even here.

While enough has probably been said about jet-setting Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s nationally mocked response to President Obama’s State of the Union Address, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean caused us to bring up Bobby’s speech one more time in his appearance on Meet the Press this morning. More after the jump.
While it is hard to believe that Jet-setting Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal could be even more embarrassed than he was after “The Speech” Mardi Gras Day, it appears that he suffered another humiliating rebuke at the polls after his candidate in the District 20 State Senate special election lost. Bobby, when it comes to persuading Louisianans, apparently unlike the rest of America, you can’t quite do anything!
According to analyst John Maginnis, the former master-apprentice relationship between former Governor Mike Foster, and current Governor, and potential 2012 candidate for President, Bobby Jindal may be unraveling due to Jindal’s failed leadership. Maginnis goes on to say the split between Jindal and reformist icon Buddy Roemer is even wider than that between Jindal and Big Daddy Mike Foster.
According to the Times-Picayune, Louisiana Governor and potential candidate for either Senate or President Bobby Jindal has sealed a book deal. Jindal says the book will be a mix of his life experiences and policy proposals, with a heavy emphasis on combating child molesters. No word yet on how he will find time to write giving his heavy out of state fundraising schedule, but it is assumed most of the book will be written during the upcoming legislative session, where the Governor will not be very occupied, as he is forbidden by law from raising money during the session.
From Politico, Governor Bobby Jindal’s (R-LA USA) rhetoric opposing the stimulus has quietly died down as the Governor faces reality and sharply declining poll numbers.
From The Gambit, jet-setting Governor Bobby Jindal is dealt a major setback following the results of the special election in State Senate District 16. Jindal’s embarrassment over his enthusiastic support of oddball businessman Winston Lee Domingue, who lost by more than 30 points, is a cause of concern for the Governor as he heads in to the upcoming legislative session. No word yet on how this major defeat for Jindal will effect his ambitious agenda this session of increasing penalties for child molesters and his brilliant idea to balance the budget, eliminating ergonomic chairs in government offices. Sources say Domingue is considering asking Jindal to give back the over $100,000 he donated to the governor, as he obviously did not get what he paid for.
