Trouble in Paradise

According to analyst John Maginnis, the former master-apprentice relationship between former Governor Mike Foster, and current Governor, and potential 2012 candidate for President, Bobby Jindal may be unraveling due to Jindal’s failed leadership.  Maginnis goes on to say the split between Jindal and reformist icon Buddy Roemer is even wider than that between Jindal and Big Daddy Mike Foster.

Jindal Scores Book Deal

According to the Times-Picayune, Louisiana Governor and potential candidate for either Senate or President Bobby Jindal has sealed a book deal.  Jindal says the book will be a mix of his life experiences and policy proposals, with a heavy emphasis on combating child molesters.  No word yet on how he will find time to write giving his heavy out of state fundraising schedule, but it is assumed most of the book will be written during the upcoming legislative session, where the Governor will not be very occupied, as he is forbidden by law from raising money during the session. 

Jindal uses state helicopter for fundraiser

Jet-setting Governor Bobby Jindal attended a fundraiser last night for Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser.   In keeping with his commitment to a gold standard of ethics, Governor Jindal used a state owned helicopter to be transported to the event.  Those wishing to investigate whether this violates state ethics laws should call the Louisiana Board of Ethics at 225-219-5600.
